About the Workshop
High school sports are in full swing and with them comes one of the most misunderstood injuries: concussions. They don’t just happen on the football field. Concussions can occur in any sport, at work, or even from vehicle accidents. Unfortunately, solid information on what they are—and what to do next—isn’t always easy to find.
This Wednesday Wellness Workshop is designed for parents, coaches, athletes, and trainers who want real, science-based answers.
Dr. Ryan Larsen, PT, DPT, Cert DN
Dr. Larsen combines proven concussion treatment models with hands-on rehab experience to help athletes and everyday people recover stronger.

Fitness has been a central part of my life for nearly two decades. Now that I’m in my late 40s and reflect on my personal fitness journey, I often wonder how different things might have been if I had started even earlier.
While I’m deeply committed to health, strength training, and personal fitness coaching, my passion lies in helping people who feel trapped by weight gain take back control of their health. I offer personal training in Silverdale that provides guidance and support for those looking to build strength, confidence, and long-term health.
I also specialize in working with adults 50+, helping them improve flexibility, balance, and functional strength so they can move with confidence and maintain independence.
As a Titleist Performance Institute Certified Golf Fitness and Power Expert, I help golfers increase mobility, strength, and power—allowing them to hit farther, play longer, and reduce their risk of injury.
I believe that fitness is more than just physical transformation, it’s about mental well-being, confidence, and longevity.
With nearly 20 years of experience in strength training, personal training, and nutrition, I’ve studied under the National Academy for Sports Medicine (NASM) and the International Sports Science Association (ISSA). My mission is to provide a unique personal training experience in a private, supportive gym environment, helping every individual become the strongest version of themselves.
I’ve always been fascinated by how the human body adapts, performs, and heals. What began as a lifelong passion for athletic performance evolved into a career dedicated to helping others move and live better.
As a NASM Certified Personal Trainer with specializations in corrective exercise and performance enhancement, I blend biomechanics, strength science, and individualized coaching to help clients unlock their potential—whether that means building strength, restoring movement, or regaining confidence after injury. My approach is data-driven and precise, but also deeply personal: every program is designed to match the individual in front of me.
I currently coach athletes and general-population clients alike, from collegiate volleyball players to adults rebuilding strength later in life. For me, training isn’t just about aesthetics or numbers—it’s about expanding what you’re capable of, physically and mentally.
I’m also pursuing my Doctorate in Physical Therapy to continue bridging the gap between rehabilitation and performance.
Outside the gym, you’ll usually find me behind a piano, lost in a chess game, or exploring the science that connects movement, learning, and creativity.
I’m a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and BASI Certified Pilates Instructor specializing in corrective exercise, integrative core strength, and sustainable fat loss.
My passion lies in women’s health and fitness, helping clients navigate training through every phase of the menstrual cycle and menopause. I take a client-centered approach that emphasizes communication, education, and empowerment, so each person feels confident and connected in their body.
Drawing from both science and movement artistry, I design programs that restore balance, build strength, and support long-term wellbeing.
Outside of training, I’m a choreographer and dance educator who believes movement is one of the most powerful tools for healing, expression, and self-discovery.

I love working with people who think they “hate exercise.” Watching someone go from hesitant to confident, to realizing they’re capable of more than they imagined, is what drives me every day.
I’m a NASM Certified Personal Trainer focused on general strength and conditioning, helping clients build confidence and strength through approachable, sustainable training. My coaching style is calm, motivational, and supportive. I meet people where they are and help them grow from there.
I especially enjoy working with individuals who are new to resistance training or hesitant to start. There’s nothing more rewarding than helping someone discover that movement can actually feel good and that strength training can change not only their body, but their mindset.
Outside the studio, I’m passionate about giving back to the recovery community. I volunteer my time and energy to help people in or recovering from addiction experience the positive power of movement and exercise endorphins.
For me, fitness isn’t just about the body—it’s about connection, growth, and rediscovering what’s possible.
